adult tennis league to run May and June – A Fun doubles team program –
the deadline to register is May 1st so don’t miss out!
The
Ontario Tennis Association has raised its membership fees for 2011 -
$10.00 per adult member and $2.00 per child. We are pleased to inform
you that there is no increase in fees for this year and the fee has been
included in your user fee cost.

across Canada. Join our community called “A Love of Tennis”
2010
Our 'Love of Tennis' program is currently implementing a character
development program with tennis training at Queen Mary School.

pleased to announce that we have received an Ontario Trillium Grant
for $15,000 to upgrade the courts at Ridgemont High School.
Youth Leagues - New. Team Tennis League for 10 and up who can
rally over the net 5 times in a row

announce that we have accumulated another tennis site at Ridgemont
High School in which we will be looking for funding to upgrade. It
is our passion to see that kids have the opportunity to play on nice
facilities that they feel proud to call their home courts

Come and bid on hours to help our organization at the first

to be held at the War Museum November 15th. Tickets are $20.00 and

Hillcrest Tennis Academy September 20-21st

Ottawa Tennis Community Centre is a proud supporter of True
Sport!
True Sport is a Canadian organization that is working to ensure a
positive, meaningful and enriching experience for all who participate in
sport
A very special
thank-you goes to Trevor Kluke who has kindly volunteered and
developed a terrific set of logos for our organization. Ottawa Tennis Community Centre has a new look and is divided into three
divisions; Hillcrest Tennis Academy, Love of Tennis (which is our
school program) and Ottawa Team Tennis Tournament.
Team Tennis Event Takes Place at Hillcrest
It was a very cold day in
October however 30 people came out for a great cause. Our team
tennis event helps develop school programs in this region and
provides all kids with an opportunity to play

High School Tennis Championships at the Rideau Tennis Club
The high school tennis
came to an end with Immaculata High taking home the trophy for the
top team in the senior division and Colonel By taking home the
junior top team award

The
team tennis program is to start at the Ottawa boys and girls club at
25 Desmaurier off Pinecrest this fall in their gym. We look forward
to bringing tennis in such a fun format to the kids. If you would

2007
A new
junior development program is coming to Hillcrest this July. This group
instruction will be taught by Tony Milo a Tennis Canada Certified Coach
2 who has excellent experience in teaching some of the top juniors in
the Country. You are sure to bring your game up to the next level but
also hit a ton of balls, practice all your shots and have loads of fun
at the same time. Check under

registration form.

The spring has started and our tennis programs are booming. All adult
beginner and intermediate programs are full. The junior team tennis
programs have started and the matches have begun

Congratulations to 15 year old Gabriela Dabrowski who recently won the
under 18 indoor nationals in Toronto. Her coach Tony Milo teaches at our
Academy

A
new order
form has been developed in partnership with Tommy & Lefebvre for
schools in ordering equipment. We thank Tommy & Lefebvre for providing
an opportunity for our schools to purchase equipment locally. The
application form can be printed off under the school section of the
website.

It is
with great privilege to announce that Hillcrest Tennis Academy has
received the 2006 Tennis Canada Building Tennis Communities Excellence
Award for Community of the Year

Racquets donated to underprivileged Kids
The Neonatal Unit at CHEO has kindly donated several new racquets to be
used for the underprivileged kids in our school program
