Junior Team Tennis Lessons

TEAM TENNIS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

May – June

Cost - $75.00

All winning teams qualify for McGuinty Grand Slam in September

Round Robin/Team Tennis on Saturdays June – September 10:30-noon included with this program

Opportunity to play on courts at Hillcrest & Ridgemont when there are no programs or special events

Team tennis is an exciting way to learn tennis and have fun playing on a team at the same time. Each session includes half lesson and half playing. Teams are co-ed and scores are accumulated each week.

All participants play doubles and singles weekly. They get to practice and improve each week by playing matches. All matches and lessons are based on the progressive tennis format.

Ages 9 -11 years     Tuesday May 11 – June 15th                    Rain dates June 22 & or 29

Ages 12 +               Wednesday May 12 – June 16th               Rain dates June 23 & or 30

Ages 6 – 8 years      Friday May 14 –June 18th                        Rain date June 25th

Round Robin/Team Tennis

Cost - $25.00

All participants must be able to rally 5 times over the net if they are unable to they are required to take the May/June program or register for a week in our summer program prior to commencing this program. Once you are able to rally you are able to join in at any time during the season.

Program begins June 5th – ends September 11th

Saturdays 10:30-noon         2 sessions:      June 5th-July 31                    August 14th-September 11th

Summer Programs

Cost - $90.00 per session

Ages 6-8 years           9-noon

Ages 9-11 years          9-noon

Ages 12 +                  1:00-4pm

All skills forehand, backhand, serve, volley will be taught during the weekly session. Half of the session will be new skills and the other half match play so kids have fun while learning a sport they can play for a lifetime. Team play, team spirit and a ton of fun makes this an exciting program for kids. If it rains once there will be no change if it rains twice then we will contact you for a make-up session.

All participants who take this program are eligible to play on Saturdays 10:30-noon included in cost.
